Around the House
There is a small charcoal barbecue, and there will probably be some charcoal and lighters too. We ask our guests to use whatever consumables they find in the house (salt, sugar, charcoal, detergent, whatever), and to replace anything that they use up so that there are always all the essentials when other guests arrive. There is garden furniture (chairs and tables) which you can use pretty well anywhere in the garden: sit under the walnut tree, move up into the orchard for shade, or use it on the terrace in the evening.
Just across the road (well, it's more a country lane) there is parking for two cars.
If you’d like to see what the house looks like from the air, have a look at two photos taken by Hans Barnhoorn in 2011, he took a trip in a light aircraft and flew over La Grange.
