Snow in time for Christmas, and then it wasn't

Lavignon at Christmastime
We’ve had our annual sprinkling, actually rather more than normal. We’ve had maybe a centimetre in previous years but this year we had about 3 and temperatures of -7°C. Fortunately we did our shopping for a few days when we arrived so we could sit tight, watch the snow fall, and enjoy the wood fire in the evenings.

We also made jam from the sloes we picked a couple of months ago - 20 pots! And made two lots of muffins, one more successful than the other!
